2019 – HONDA CIVIC COUPE THE TECHNOLOGICAL UPDATE

The Honda Civic has received in the United States a slight aesthetic and technological update, both in its sedan and coupe versions. For the time being these improvements are restricted to the United States, but possibly soon to be extended to other markets. This upgrade, which comes with the purpose of maintaining the successful modern Japanese model, comes with some outside enhancements as well as some important updates to the device. The Honda Civic 2019 will be recognized for its refurbished front end, which adds a new grille, as well as a new design for the bumper and the lower ventilation grille, as well as new Full LED headlights. The rear has also been revised, but the changes introduced here are quite light, as only a few trims have been renewed, such as a chrome-plated bumper on some trim levels. On the other hand, the 2019 line of the Honda Civic is enriched in the United States with the arrival of the new level of finish Sport, which gains a few sports touches that include bumpers of specific design and the chromed exhaust of polygonal format. Honda also took the opportunity to redesign the 10-spoke and up to 18-inch diameter alloy wheels, as well as showcase a revamped exterior color palette. The equipment of the Civic 2019 improves with a refreshed 7.0-inch touch-screen infotainment system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But the most relevant innovation of the revamped Civic is related to the Honda Sensing driving assist systems, which are now standard equipment throughout the American line. These road assists include, among other things, stand-alone braking in the city, frontal collision warning, track maintenance, track unintentional change alert, adaptive cruise control, etc. For now the Japanese manufacturer has not confirmed the date that the Honda Civic 2019 will be available in American dealers, but it is expected that the renewed Civic will arrive in the coming weeks.

2018 – HONDA AMAZE

Honda has unveiled a host of new features at its booth at Auto Expo 2018, one of the most important auto shows held annually in New Delhi, India. One of the novelties of the Japanese manufacturer was the new Honda Amaze 2018, a model that already has some luggage due to its commercial history in that market. Taking advantage of the event, Honda unveiled the second generation of Amaze, this interesting sedan that arrived at Indian dealerships in 2013. Although SUVs and Crossovers continue to gain market share in India (as is the case worldwide) continue to have a very important commercial performance. That is why in just half a decade, the Japanese manufacturer has decided to carry out the Amaze generation change. It is striking that the Japanese sedan debuts a more stylized, modern and elegant image. Details such as the chrome trim on the front, the design of the headlights that connect with the grille and the new bumper, are some of the most distinctive features of this model. If we take a look at the rear, the form adopted by the lanterns, the spoiler integrated into the bodywork and the bulky shapes it adopts in general and for the body caring purposes you should use waterproof infiniti cover, helps to bring a greater character to the Honda Amaze 2018. In addition to the aesthetic changes, another relevant novelty that debuts with the second generation of Amaze is a new platform. The design and development of the new Amaze took place at Honda’s R & D center in Bangkok, Thailand. It is logical that its development happened there, since it will also be marketed in Thailand. As a curiosity, the first generation of this model was called Honda Brio Amaze in the Thai market. It is not yet known whether the change of generation will change its name or continue with it. Although it measures only 4 meters in length, Honda points out that the new Amaze has a more sophisticated and spacious passenger compartment. The trunk also gained cargo volume. For now the brand has not revealed details about its mechanical part.

2019 – HONDA PASSPORT

After several official advances and numerous photos of prototypes, finally debuted the new Honda SUV. The new Honda Passport appeared on the scene at the Los Angeles 2018 Show. The Japanese manufacturer continues to bet on SUVs and with the introduction of this new model will strengthen its line in a market as important as the United States. The launch of the new Honda Passport also has a clear objective, to occupy part of the large space between the Honda CR-V and the Honda Pilot. The size of these two SUVs left a clear vacuum that could be occupied by a third model. That’s where the new Honda Passport comes into play. It will be available on the brand’s dealer network in the United States from 2019. Unlike the Pilot, the new Passport has a more compact size, which makes it a more versatile car. Nor can we ignore that it shows an image where it perfectly combines traits of sporty style with an adventurous and rude air. Of course, it adopts the new design philosophy that Honda is applying to all its new models. Features optics with LED technology, equips 20-inch alloy wheels and its grid features a black finish. Details like longitudinal roof bars, protections that use the lower part of the bodywork and the important free height of the ground accentuate its country side. And you can not miss the visible chrome-plated exhaust tailpipe that fits perfectly into the rear bumper. In relation to the interior of the Honda Passport 2019, there is a carrier that transmits quality with well-made adjustments. The instrument cluster is characterized by combining a classic configuration with a modern one. At its center is a 7.0-inch screen. In the center console there is an 8.0 inch touch screen that becomes the nerve center of the passenger compartment to control the infotainment system. In addition to GPS navigation, it has Wi-Fi 4G LTE connection and offers compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Among the equipment that can be configured stand out the electric and thermal adjustment banks, the rear view camera and the HomeLink function. The brand places special emphasis on the space available to occupants of the rear seats, just as the luggage carrier offers a large volume of cargo. As for the mechanical part, underneath the hood hides a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine with 283 hp and 354 Nm of maximum torque, which comes coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Optionally the Honda will allow to configure a system of total traction. Standard will feature front wheel drive.

2019 – HONDA HR-V SPORT

The Japanese manufacturer has unveiled a new dynamic version of the Honda HR-V, which receives a high performance-oriented treatment, including a new 182-hp turbocharged engine, as well as some tweaks to achieve a much more sporty fit. This is the new Honda HR-V Sport, a new level of finish for the Japanese crossover, which features a more aggressive exterior aesthetic. The new ‘Sport’ will be recognized by its front, which includes a specific black lacquered grille, plus a new splitter, side skirts, wheel arch moldings, a sturdier rear bumper and a double exhaust outlet. The interior of this new level of finishing was also subject to revision, but with slight changes. It incorporates new front seats with more support and two-tone mixed upholstery. But as we said before, the improvements were not restricted to the aesthetic plan, since this new finish comes accompanied by a new mechanical proposal, a Turbo engine of 1.5 liters VTEC that develops 182 cv of power and 240 Nm of maximum torque available between 1900 and 5,000 rpm. The propeller is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT-type automatic. This improvement in available power is also accompanied by a new upgrade of the chassis, in order to improve its dynamic behavior. Suspensions on both axles have been improved and include the technology the manufacturer calls ‘Performance Damper’, a system that neutralizes lateral displacement of the vehicle, improving cornering behavior and reducing vibration when traveling over uneven surfaces. The beginning of its commercialization is scheduled for the next month of March 2019.
